The Burdekin-Johnson range
Unfortunately, J Burdekin have recently gone out of business. This is very sad as we have a long association with the company. Like ourselves, Burdekin started as traditional basket weavers and they have supplied us with cane furniture for many years. The good news is that we are now importing some of the range under the name Burdekin-Johnson, direct from manufacturers in the Far East and we are still able to supply them at discounted prices.
We stock a wide range of furniture to suit traditional and modern conservatories. With today's open plan living areas, there is a growing trend to extend the use of conservatory furniture into dining rooms, kitchen/diners and lounges. Whatever you are considering we will be happy to advise you.
Our extensive displays enable you to get a real impression of how the furniture would look in your home and our vast experience of supplying furniture and accessories enables us to pass on a wealth of useful tips to help you to choose furniture that is right for you.
We aim to make your visit a pleasant experience and like to give you time to look around and relax. We also offer complimentary tea or coffee along with friendly advice and guidance if you need it.
Our stock includes conservatory suites from the world's leading manufacturers including Daro, Desser, Habasco, J Burdekin, Kiani, MGM, Kingsway, and The Cane Industries.
Cane and rattan both grow in hot, humid environments and have a built-in ability to withstand the varying temperatures and levels of humidity that occur in conservatories.
Rattan grows like ivy and produces good solid timber, unlike Bamboo, which is hollow. Rattan naturally regenerates itself in a 10 year cycle.
Cared for properly, cane and rattan furniture will stand the test of time and give exceptional value for money.
