Our extensive range of home furnishing products is sold through our extensive showrooms situated in the beautiful village of Bangor on Dee (or in Welsh, Bangor-is-y-Coed) in North Wales, 5 miles from Wrexham and 17 miles from Chester.

It is the perfect place to browse in a relaxed village atmosphere, with friendly help and advice available if required. As a family business, J Johnson and Son has grown through recommendation for high quality and value for money with good customer service and aftercare.

Basket making in our workshop

We produce a vast array of wicker basketwork products. All are hand made on-site using traditional methods that have changed little in hundreds if not thousands of years.

Special-order customers include Chirk Castle, Erddig Hall, Theatre Clwyd, Chester Zoo and Bangor on Dee Racecourse.
